Gleb Barens (he/him) is a fashion photographer based in London, UK. Born in Lipetsk, Russia, Gleb’s relationship with photography began at the age of six and has been a constant thread in his life ever since. After moving to the United Kingdom, he began to approach the medium with intention, using it as a visual language to express memory, emotion, and identity.
Currently studying BA (Hons) Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion, Gleb’s work is defined by a calm, personal, and emotionally alive aesthetic. His images often explore themes of nature, love, identity, and the quiet intimacy found in personality and presence. His practice spans photography, creative direction, videography, styling, and production—giving him the freedom to build each project in his own voice, with care and intention.
Blending conceptual storytelling with a raw, observational aesthetic, Gleb’s work is shaped by his sensitivity to the world around him along with his own experiences and perspectives—a blend of emotional instinct, visual curiosity, and a desire to translate feeling into form. Each image is a reflection of his own emotional landscape—a moment transformed into something universal.
